Vimo, formerly known as Healthia, believes consumers deserve a lot more power in the health care system. The company tries to make buying health care services and insurance easier, less expensive and more transparent. On Vimo’s website users can get the objective, authoritative, and comprehensive comparison shopping information. Upon landing on the front page visitors need just to supply their zip code and get healt insurance policiy quote for a family or small business. The results are sorted by score, policy issuers and amount of deductible payments. From there visitors are encouraged to compare plans or purchase insurance policies.
Vimo website also features consumer and broker blogs. The company releases periodic industry reports. The site has directories of doctors and dentists in major US metropolitan areas.
Overall, it looks like a nice and technologically sound attempt to create a portal website for purchasing health insurance policies.
